We're super excited to have the lovely Gwyneth Anne joining us this year in Mallorca. Not only is this lady a fantastic DJ, but she's also a master of fluid leading, and here's what she's share with us:
'I’ll be teaching fluid leading in salsa (also referred to as role rotation). In partner dance, we typically find that the leaders are inviting and instructing movement, and followers are listening for and following through from this invitation in order to execute moves. Fluid leading not only gives followers more space to express themselves, but develops a greater understanding of the connection we have with our partner in dance. I’ll be teaching easy-to-grasp moves that allow leaders and followers to switch roles during a dance and how to turn the dance into a two-way conversation between dancers as well as the tools to keep a dance going in a role we’re not used to. This is a chance to experience dance from a new perspective, learn more about how to connect with your partner, and have fun! There is no need to have danced both roles prior to this class!"
