What can I say? 2024, you were wonderful.
It was definitely a wild one, which included visiting the jaw-dropping Rockies in Canada, the Fjords of Norway, the stunning beaches along Tunisia, exploring the canals and bridges of Amsterdam and of course, my favourite city... Paris.
Some highlights of my travels this year....
Walking across the Columbia Icelfield Glacier in Canada.
Watching a violinist play outside the Louvre in Paris.
Sunbathing on the beach in Tunisia and watching my children play on the beach.
Standing on the top deck on the P&O Iona watching the Northern lights in Norway, whilst sipping a hot chocolate at midnight.
Sailing the canals around Amsterdam, taking in the city lights.

When your customer asks for....

The answer was instantly Iceland, and boy did the lights put on a show. I arranged a northen lights tour for night one and always recommend this. If the lights don't show, then we can reschedule for another night complimentary. However, rescheduling was not needed as the lights were dancing over Iceland last weekend and soooo pretty.
They also took to the road to explore the wilderness Iceland had to offer, exploring the sights on the famous golden circle tour. This stops at waterfalls, geysers, hot springs, and incredible landscapes. Then, to top of the experience, we booked an hours snowmobiling over Langjokull glacier. #adventure
Staying at the 4* Grandi by Center hotel meant my customers could enjoy a stunning spa experience, (included with the room).
Designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, the Grandi Spa provides a full-on wellness experience with it's gorgeous design and spacious layout. Among the facilities are massage rooms, a lounge area equipped with comfortable seating, and warmed by the ambient light fireplace. Additionally, the spa includes two hot tubs, set at different temperatures. Above these hot tubs is an open skylight that allows natural light to filter in offering guests the unique opportunity to view the sky while enjoying the warm waters.
To complete the spa experience, a sunset experience at the @skylagooniceland was a perfect end to the weekend after exploring Icelands' icy landscapes.
They even managed to visit my fave food spot in Reykjavik twice! @svartakaffid. If you are going to Reykjavik, this is a must ๐.

Dinner last night in #theglasshouse on board Iona with @pandocruises #shineatsea.
The food was cooked to perfection.
Starters were tapas style, the scallops and king prawns were ๐. Then we chose a trio of chicken, trio of beef and trio of seafood. WoW!
Then the Very Berry trio of desserts.
(Top tip get the retro trio)
Jammy dodger , cornflake cake, and arctic roll. Colleagues absolutely raved about this, too.

Instead of booking my clients from the UK to explore the world, this booking was special, and my wonderful clients from the US came to explore the UK.
After a few calls discussing everything Rhonda ad Travis wanted from their trip we worked out an itinerary to help them explore the cities, towns, islands, castles, animals, historic venues and books shops that they have dreamed of seeing.
They flew in comfort with @virginatlantic direct from New York and enjoyed time in London, Inverness, Various locations across the Scottish Highlands, including Skye and the Cairngorms and Loch Ness. They enjoyed time in Edinbugh and took in many @outlander_starz locations across Scotland.
We also enjoyed a lovely lunch in Edinburgh at the @makarsmashbar for some haggis, neeps and tatties and the Bonnie Prince Charlie special before they flew to Dublin the following day and explored another new city.
I hope your trip was everything you had dreamed of, and it was lovely to meet you both.

This week Lucy and I had a call to discuss all things Orlando and Disney.
