Due to an electrical fire at a nearby substation, Heathrow Airport has unfortunately closed today, affecting many flights and travel plans.

I am currently receiving lots of calls and messages for help from holiday makers and travellers who booked online or directly with the airline. It is with regret that I can not assist you.

If you did not book your travel through me, I kindly ask that you contact the travel company or provider you booked with directly for assistance. They will have access to your booking details and be best placed to help you.

❌𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘 ❌

✈ Heathrow is currently affected by a major power outage caused by a large fire at a nearby electrical substation. While emergency crews are actively responding, there is no confirmed timeline for restoring power.

As a result, Heathrow will remain closed until 2359 on 21st of March 2025 but this timeline remains fluid and may change!

I will be working today to assist my customers, but if you don't have an agent, please contact your airline for updates.

It's my first time here in Bangalore (Bengalaru).
First impressions...I love it! The city has many green parks and spaces, and because of location it has a very temperate climate without the extremes of heat or cold.

It's the capital of India's southern Karnataka state and is the centre of India's high-tech industry, making it the 'silicon valley of India!'

I went up to see Bangalore Palace (modeled after England’s Windsor Castle)

It was bustling as always on the roads here in India, but my trusty tuk tuk driver knew all the short cuts 😃.

Today I am in Atlanta, Georgia! Firstly, when we arrived yesterday, somebody held us up on the airfield and delayed us getting on to stand at ATL🙄🤭 and Secondly someone else was double parked, blocking our entry to the hotel, and now the ever changing views from my hotel room window! Today I've woken up in a cloud😆☁️ What ever next?

I am off to LA today for a few days.

Did you know that the Hollywood sign was originally put up as an advertisement for a new real estate development called “Hollywoodland?”

The sign was only supposed to stay up for a few months, but it proved so popular that it was left up long after the housing development was completed.

Over the years, the sign with its 45ft tall letters has since undergone several renovations and has of course become the iconic part of the Hollywood landscape that it is today.

When in town I always love to get my steps in with an early morning hike to the top of Mt. Lee. From the top the views of the city below are AMAZING!

Sadly the current heatwave and wildfires are in full swing there right now, so no hiking this trip, and I sincerely hope the residents and authorities keep safe during this very dangerous time.

Greetings from beautiful Paphos, Cyprus 😍 I'm here with the Constantinou Bros Hotel group.

I am staying in the very beautiful Asimina Beach Hotel, an all suite and adult only property.

I have just spent the morning a few doors down the promenade at the Athena Beach (a multi generation property), and the Athena Royal Hotel.

Very interestingly in between the Athena Royal and Athena Beach hotels are the fantastic Bowling Green Facilites...more about that later!

As you may have seen on my live post from yesterday, this stunning North West facing property is set along a strip of white sandy beach on the edge of a turquoise lagoon, and within the shade of a 35-hectare tropical garden 😍

These past couple of days I have been here on the popular north-west coast where the Victoria Beachcomber is brilliantly located between the tourist hub of Grand Baie and Port Louis (the capital city).
