Hi everyone! I thought id give a quick update as my page looks like its been totally abandoned....
Im pregnant! (eeeeeeep) the first few months were really rough so I cancelled a lot of work and I am now in the really lucky position of being able to take some time off to finish growing the baby and then look after the baby and work out how life looks after its arrival. Mountain rescue 2025...2026?!?
Im planning on getting back to teaching in 2025 and until then will be learning about trekking and being outdoors with a teeny tiny person- I cant wait!!!!! Im still available via email for enquiries or to recommend other outdoor first aid trainers or mountain leaders.

Fab job with a wonderful organisation :-) Stomping Grounds Forest School North East

We're recruiting!

Our specialist work is expanding and we're looking for therapeutic, creative, neuro-affirming practitioners to join our Therapeutic Forest School team.

Our work is a mixture of 1-1 and small group work, usually from our woodland in Prudhoe but sometimes in other outdoor locations across the North East.

We are looking for Level 3 Forest School practitioners, Outdoor Learning practitioners and those with experience of working inclusively with children and young people who are struggling to access mainstream education due to unmet SEN or SEMH needs.

Ad Hoc lead and support roles currently available. We have roles for those who already have their Forest School leadership training, and those who might be interested in working towards it.

What I’ve been up to with my weekend. Anyone fancying some winter fun I cannot recommend Hayley enough. I’ve laughed loads, learnt even more and came away having the best weekend full of confidence and excitement to spend more time in the snow!

Hi all. I’ve had a request for a weekend first aid course. 28th/29th january.
16 hour outdoor course with an optional paediatric add on.
Mega practical at paddy freeman park
£140 outdoor + £20 paediatric, low income option available.
I need to fill a couple more places for this course to go ahead, pop me a message if you’re interested.

First aid trainning at its best; Thali and Jess taking it all very seriously on Monday/Tuesdays outdoor first aid course. Tahli wins best acting (she's supposed to be unconscious here)

Hi all. Ive been full of busy working at festivals and events this summer so far but cant wait to get back to some outdoor adventures and first aid training. I have a hill skills test day for mountain rescue coming up (wish me luck!) followed by a trip to Iceland then two more festivals to go then back into first aid training!!!!!
I have a couple of spaces on my September 26th/27th Outdoor/Paediatric course at paddy freeman park. message me or email me for more info on that.

I love these birds from RSPB. I found the birds hiding around the woods during a session on Forest school training at Scotswood Natural Community Garden They cheep and everything.
