St George’s Villa on tour at Carding Mill Valley! ❄️☃️

"Move over Cornwall, the Isle of Wight is officially the hottest destination for a summer holiday to travel to sans-passport. And no, we're not just talking about heading to the annual festival. Located off the south coast of England, it's surprisingly easy to reach from the mainland via a train journey (two hours from London to Portsmouth) and a 45-minute ferry ride.🏝☀️

"UK staycations have really peaked in the past few years. Just because you can go abroad doesn't mean you have to. Especially when you take into account the numerous benefits of holidaying closer to home, from reducing your carbon footprint to bringing along furry friends.🐶

"With its own micro-climate, sandy beaches and breathtaking coastal views paired with quintessentially picturesque British towns, you get a little bit of everything. And while there's plenty to keep you busy for a week's sojourn, a weekend visit is also a realistic option as it takes only an hour to drive from one end of the Island to the other."🤩

St George Awaits..

This large townhouse was formally part a hotel and brewery in the late 19th Century but has been a family home for many years now. The substantial house is detached with a secluded, walled garden at the rear and offers plenty of space for a family holiday or large group getaway. There are 4 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 10 people, plus some additional sofa beds in the downstairs reception rooms, offering flexible accommodation for those not wishing to share a room. The house has a large Kitchen and dining area which leads onto the garden. There is also a large dining / seating area leading off the kitchen. The property is pet friendly and accepts dogs, and there’s plenty of additional items in the property for pets to use, including a dog bed if required. You’ll find that the house is very well equipped for people too, with a fully stocked kitchen, including coffee maker, slow cooker, range oven, microwave and washing machine. There are 2 living rooms with plenty of soft seating for everyone. For the children, there’s a games room with sofa, tv, games console, toys and games to use. The house is only a few steps from the main high street in Ryde, and you can see the sea from the top bedrooms. A short walk down the hill will bring you onto the popular seafront at Ryde, with miles of sandy beach, restaurants, bars and amusements. Ryde has a great deal of independent shops, and far more than you’ll find on most modern high streets. On the Hilly high street, you’ll also find a great selection of Restaurants and Cafes.
