🕺IMPORTANT INFO🕺

We hope you’re as excited as us for what’s shaping up to be the biggest outdoor music event the area has seen for quite some time 😎

That being said we’ve got some important details to share with you all ahead of Strathmore Sessions taking place:

* We will have a lenient last entry policy of 9pm to encourage everyone to get down and make the most of the day

* The bar will be open from 10am with the Lochside 10s kicking off as soon as the first pint is poured

* Vize Verza will be spinning the 1s and 2s as our first act, starting at 12:30 🎵

* Entry will be from the main car park where a steward will check you in and give you you’re wristband

* Valid ID will be required upon entry

* The outside bar will be card payments only

* Although we are all there to have fun, please drink responsibly and stay hydrated as it’s shaping up to be a scorcher

* We will have a security team present throughout the day and they will have the right to ask members of the public to leave should any anti-social behaviour occur

* Most importantly, have fun!

We have currently sold 80% of our ticket allocation and really want to thank everyone for the support, last few tickets remaining can be purchased below:

Visit our beaches but please take only pictures and memories.

It’s perhaps not a common-known fact that taking sand or stones from the beach is against the law.

When someone happens across a beautiful wave-worn pebble, a full understanding of the Coast Protection Act 1949 isn’t really uppermost in their mind as they slip the wondrous wee stone into their pocket.

One stone won’t matter will it?

Perhaps not, but another, then another…then multiply that by the many thousands of people who visit our beaches throughout the year and who might just take a keepsake. Even then, isn’t it just a drop in the North Sea?

Well not really. Every stone plays its part in our natural coastal defences and in protection from the continued and increasing threat of coastal erosion and flooding.

The greatest threat comes from the deliberate plundering of our coastal resources by people who remove sand, stones, cobbles and pebbles by the bag load for use in their gardens. Some areas in the UK have reported this type of activity happening on an industrial scale.

These people in particular need to be aware that it is an offence to remove materials from the seashore under the Coast Protection Act 1949.

We have six award winning beaches in Angus – Keep Scotland Beautiful announced their success last week and we want everyone who visits them to enjoy them to the full this summer.

So, if you are visiting a beach in Angus, enjoy your day but please only take pictures and memories with you when you leave – oh, and any litter you may have to ensure that others can enjoy our beaches too.
