A friend went to Beijing recently and was given this brochure by the hotel. It is precious.
She is keeping it and reading it whenever she feels depressed.
Obviously, it has been translated directly, word for word from Mandarin to English.
Getting There:
Our representative will make you wait at the airport. The bus to the hotel runs along the lake shore. Soon you will feel pleasure in passing water. You will know that you are getting near the hotel, because you will go round the bend. The manager will await you in the entrance hall. He always tries to have in*******se with all new guests.
The Hotel:
This is a family hotel, so children are very welcome. We of course are always pleased to accept adultery. Highly skilled nurses are available in the evenings to put down your children. Guests are invited to conjugate in the bar and expose themselves to others. But please note that ladies are not allowed to have babies in the bar. We organize social games, so no guest is ever left alone to play with them self.
The Restaurant:
Our menus have been carefully chosen to be ordinary and unexciting. At dinner, our quartet will circulate from table to table, and fiddle with you.
Your Room:
Every room has excellent facilities for your private parts. In winter, every room is on heat. Each room has a balcony offering views of outstanding obscenity! .. You will not be disturbed by traffic noise, since the road between the hotel and the lake is used only by pederasts.
Bed:
Your bed has been made in accordance with local tradition. If you have any other ideas please ring for the chambermaid. Please take advantage of her. She will be very pleased to squash your shirts, blouses and underwear. If asked, she will also squeeze your trousers.
Above All:
When you leave us at the end of your holiday, you will have no hope. You will struggle to forget it.

NEW TRAVEL RULES ANNOUNCED

Matt Hancock, Health Secretary, has confirmed that from 15 February all arrivals will be required to get a test on days two and eight of their 10-day quarantine period -- this includes people isolating at home or in a hotel.

And if they test positive, they will have to quarantine for a further 10 days, he says.

This is as well as a pre-departure negative test before arriving in the UK - whether by boat, plane or train - meaning all travellers to the UK will now need three Covid tests in total to enter the country and exit quarantine.

The Health Secretary confirmed tough new measures including fines of up to £10,000 and prison sentences of up to 10 years for rule breakers.

This is all being brought into place to control new variants of the virus.

Additionally, arrivals from "red list countries" must pay £1750 for their own hotel quarantine, transport and testing, Matt Hancock announced.

"Any returning residents from these countries have to quarantine in an assigned hotel room for 10 days," he says.

These will be booked online in advance and the cost of £1750 is per person.

Breaking news :

10.33am update: Cruiseliner extends coronavirus suspension

P&O Cruises has extended the suspension of sailings until mid-October as it seeks approval for enhanced safety and hygiene measures.

The UK's biggest cruise line had previously cancelled trips up to the end of July.

It announced that it has paused its operations until at least October 15 as it is working with public health bodies "to approve further enhancement of the company's already stringent health and safety protocols".

P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: "As a business, our operational focus is not 'when can we resume sailing?' but is instead 'how can we develop a comprehensive restart protocol that will keep everyone on board, our crew and guests, safe and well and still give our guests an amazing holiday?'."

News from Ryanair

From July they will be restoring more flights across 80% of their previous services:
Quote :

On board its aircraft, Ryanair cabin crew will wear face masks/coverings and a limited inflight service will be offered of pre-packaged snacks and drinks, but no cash sales. All onboard transactions will be cashless. Queuing for toilets will also be prohibited on board although toilet access will be made available to individual passengers upon request. Ryanair encourages passengers to regularly hand wash and use hand sanitizers in airport terminals.

As a temporary further public health measure, while EU States emerge from their respective Covid-19 lockdowns, Ryanair will require all passengers flying in July & Aug to fill in details (at the point of check in) of how long their planned visit will be, and also their address while visiting another EU country, and this contact information will be provided to EU Governments to help them to monitor any isolation regulations they require of visitors on intra-EU flights.
