Snow Meets Sea I - Castle Tioram, Doirlinn, Moidart

A fresh fall of snow at high tide meets the sea on the sandbar causeway that leads across to Castle Tioram. Not something that happens to often, so I feel very lucky to have captured it.

Incredible place, just a 10 min drive from us.

Constructed in the mid-13th century, Castle Tioram served as the historic stronghold of the MacDonald clan 🏰🛡️ It sits on a rocky tidal island, Eilean Tioram (Gaelic for 'Dry Island') and can be reached via a sandy causeway 🌊

We are keeping the same hours this winter❄️

If we're closed for adventures, we always try to post with as much notice as possible👀🎵

With that in mind... we do have some things coming up at the end of November, so there will be some weekends you guys will have to survive without a takeaway😲
