Expect a room filled with the biggest names in adventure, students, travel, charity and careers, alongside our incredible wider community coming together for one night only

Expect drinks, awards, some poor jokes (from Alex), nibbles, and to leave inspired by the incredible people and stories shared

Our BIGGEST ever Machu Picchu fundraising team are now deep in the Peruvian Andes 🇵🇪🦙

10 universities have come together to raise money for 6 different charities by walking 6 days to Machu Picchu 🏔️

And trust us, this is no easy feat, hiking at altitudes reaching 4650m high, crossing through glaciers, mountains, tropical cloud forests… 🥾

So, how much of an impact can this really have on the charities you may ask? 🤔

£58,465.82 worth! 🔥

That is how much this group have raised for charity over the past few months!

Now this is what we mean when we say we’re on a mission to make adventure a global force for good 🌎💪

Well done team for completing the first challenge (the fundraising), now good luck with the second challenge: the trek itself! 🫡🏔️

Hi Everyone!

I’m Maddie and I’m one of Brand Ambassadors this year and I’m so excited to get started🧡 I thought I’d introduce myself and share some of my experiences.

I am travel obsessed and I love finding new places to travel to or add to my bucket list✈️ I have always been someone that has been active in fundraising for charity and volunteering for charities and organisations. These are two reasons I love Endeavours Adventures and why I’m excited to be a Brand Ambassador!

I’m going into my final year at Loughborough University, studying Sport Science. And my favourite challenge that EA are going to be running for 24/25 is the Everest Base Camp Trek because it looks absolutely incredible😍🇳🇵

This summer I am going to be completing a charity challenge by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa’s tallest mountain and the world’s tallest freestanding mountain🗻). I have managed to raise £3000 for this challenge and charity which I hope show you guys that it is possible and to not let the fundraising target get in the way of you going on once in a lifetime experiences and raising lots of money for charity!! I have also been documenting my preparations for the climb on tiktok () if you want to check it out and see how I get on🥰

Becoming a Brand Ambassador has been a great experience already as I was able to attend the event in Nottingham to promote some of the challenges that Endeavours Adventures do.
I can’t wait to meet even more of you guys to talk more about these amazing challenges and charities🔥

⏰ In 1 week, these >£500 cars will take on a journey they never thought possible as they embark on Dash to Dubrovnik… 🚗

From almost ending up in scrap yards ☠️ to preparing to cruise through 12 countries 🤯, we believe in a second life for these sh*tboxes 💪 and in T-7 days they will take on the ultimate road trip all the way from Folkestone, England to Dubrovnik, Croatia! 🇭🇷

Tramp stamps have been applied & the cars are looking spicy 😮‍💨 we’re almost ready to go!

You asked, we answered… we are SO excited to launch our NEWEST charity challenge: Everest Base Camp! 🏔️🇳🇵

This has been a dream since we first started EA, so we are veryy excited for our first ever EBC groups to go out next year in May & September! 🔥

Become an EBC expert:
🏔️ EBC is at 5,354m altitude - higher than any of our other challenges go!

🇳🇵Everest spans over both Nepal & China - our trek will be going through Nepal!

🌄 During the trek to EBC, you will see more than 100 named & unnamed peaks!

👵 Mt Everest is over 60 MILLION years old!

📏 Mt Everest grows approximately 44mm every year due to the continuous shift of tectonic plates pushing the Himalayas upwards!

As we get closer to our National 3 Peaks season here our favourite facts about the 1st mountain on this challenge…
📍Ben Nevis 🏔️

🌋 Ben Nevis was once an active volcano

🎹 A man once carried a church organ all the way to the summit. Campbell said, “It took me four days to get the organ to the top and when I did I played Scotland the Brave.” 🎶

🥾 The first person to reach the summit of Ben Nevis was in 1771

❄️ The summit is usually 10°C cooler than the base

🔭 At the summit, ruins of the 1883 Ben Nevis Observatory remain

⛰️ Standing at 1345m tall, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK

✨ FUNDRAISING SPOTLIGHT ✨

Congrats to our fundraiser of the month: !!

Ellie has just completed our Arctic Dog Sledding Expedition (DARE) with to fundraise for the ! After surviving sleeping outside in -18 degrees celsius and crossing 300km+ of the Arctic Circle for this wonderful charity she is closer than ever to reaching her target!! 🧡

Here’s what she had to say:
‘Fundrasing has been a great way to step outside my comfort zone and support a good cause!

Since I love to draw, I thought it would be great to draw portraits of people for a small donation. During Christmas, I designed a few Christmas cards, which I sold at the dining hall at my uni accommodation!

Alongside this, I’ve organised a few quizzes for the kpop society on campus and done some bucket collections in Leicester too.

So far it’s been a great experience and I’ve had lots of fun organising these fundraisers!

EA’s Alex joined Russ and his team in Tunisia to support the final 10k, seeing first hand the magnitude of the adventure (0.06% of it) and joining the end of challenge celebrations in Ras Ang, the northern most point of Africa.

'I've really enjoyed being a challenge leader so far this year! When we were recruiting people to take part in the challenge it was great to speak to so many new people. Talking to people at Freshers Fairs pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I really enjoyed it!

While fundraising so far, my favourite thing has been seeing the events come together after everyone's hard work- it's always such a lovely atmosphere!'

This week is Children's Mental Health Week! This year’s theme focuses on moving for your mental health. As you'll all know by now, at EA we are ALL about getting moving!

So, in the spirit of moving for mental health, here are some of the ways that Team EA uses movement in our everyday lives:

🥳 Starting small: we find breaking down our movements into smaller more manageable wins helpful when getting started!

👯‍♀️ Getting friends and family involved keeps us accountable, but is also a great way to catch up with the people we love

💫 Moving regularly: we find the best way to stay active is to keep moving throughout the day

💌 And finally… not being afraid to ask for help when we need it!!

'I’m really enjoying challenging myself this year with fundraising and setting myself challenges that I wouldn’t usually do. I’m currently set to finish off my 15k total running this month along with the next milestone I have reached which is the ice bucket challenge. I’m really close to dying my hair a random colour chosen by my followers so feeling nervous about hitting that target haha. It feels good to do something that contributes to an amazing charity!'

Here's what they had to say about their Festive Bake Sale 🎅⛄:

'The university was running a conference and we took the opportunity with some other charities to organise a bake sale. We worked through the day, and moved our stall several times, managing to sell nearly everything we brought with us as well as a few tote bags given to us by Women for Women International. Along with several very generous donations, we managed to add £226 to our fundraising target and now we are at 30% with still nearly 10 months to go! Next, we are working behind the scenes towards a big events with a pub quiz, a big raffle, and more cakes of course!'
