The past year was my year for short trips!
I did weekends in ๐ช๐ฒ๐๐บ๐ผ๐๐๐ต, ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฎ, ๐ก๐ผ๐ฟ๐ณ๐ผ๐น๐ธ & ๐ฆ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐๐ต and a lovely week in ๐๐ด๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฟ, ๐ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ผ ! Without this business my passion and ease in travel wouldnโt be possible so Iโm always grateful ๐ซถ๐ผ

As we are still unable to travel freely I have been looking to get my culture and experience fix abit closer to home...

Nestled in the heart of the East End youโll find the famous Columbia Road flower market every Sunday from 9am-2pm.

Today was my first visit and Iโll be back for sure! Normally stalls line both sides of Columbia Road but due to the pandemic only the right hand side is in use. I actually think I prefer this as you then get to see all the little shops on the left hand side which are selling everything from freshly pressed coffee and huge croissants to beautiful pots and vases to place your freshly bought flowers and plants.

The range & variety of colourful flowers is beyond imagination and plants come in all shapes, sizes & price ranges.

Donโt forget to stop for some food while at the market. I popped into what I thought was a newsagents to get a drink and found freshly made vegetable samosas which were delicious! You can also pick up freshly made bagels and even oysters!
