San Gines is Madrid’s oldest and most famous chocolate shop. This authentic little chocolateria serves up the best chocolate and churros in town. Named after its five tiny villages, the UNESCO-listed Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre encompasses some of Italy’s most picturesque and environmentally sensitive coastline. The villages are linked by the 12km Blue Trail, a magnificent, mildly challenging 9km trail. The Blue Trail is just one of a network of footpaths and cycle trails that crisscross the park. If water sports are more your thing, you can hire snorkelling gear and kayaks.

Next time you're in Lisbon, you'll notice Azulejos, the Portuguese tiles, nearly everywhere you go. These beautiful, decorative tiles were used during the Gothic period to cover up large areas of blank walls. They're gorgeous and instagram-worthy - so have your camera's ready.
