I am dropping in to share this fab photo from featuring our Finest Studio Tote in Natural Jute.

Our Summer Sale continues with all totes just £20 until the end of the month plus there are lots more bargains to be had.

I wanted to say thank you for your orders and patience over the last few weeks, we were not prepared for the end of term gifting purchases that were made but we won’t make that mistake again, we will be more prepared next year! All outstanding orders will leave us this week and our lead times will be reduced at last.

🏫 School holidays - Activities in Dorset with the kids!

A lovely few hours spent at Sophie’s ceramics pottery cafe in Blandford. They have also just opened another shop in Shaftesbury.
Lots of pottery to choose from, a great selection of paints, stencils, coffee and cake and Sophie and her grandad and all the staff were absolutely lovely ❤️
Your painted pottery has to go into a kiln and is normally ready in about 7-10 days, so if you are not local and just visiting the area they do have an option to post it to you! ✉️

We look forward to collecting our pottery ☺️

Just patiently waiting for rose season to arrive 🩷

June is when the cottage bursts into colour with all of the climbing roses and I can’t wait! I just wish they stayed for longer 🥀

Totally stolen this from but it’s a great idea and a nice bit of advertising out and about for us to! Bought from a lovely small business who personalise lots of amazing bags, in case you feel the need to buy one yourself! 💛 Just remember to leave it at the cottage for the next guests to use 😉

Kimmeridge and the Etches Collection 🦖

A great few hours out for any budding palaeontologists or general fossil enthusiasts.
The Etches collection houses some amazing fossils, Sea-Rex which was recently featured on TV resides here, very impressive!
Stopping at Clavells Restaurant opposite the museum with an extensive food offering before a walk along Kimmeridge Bay which was getting quite windy with Storm Isha on its way!
I wonder what new fossils will be uncovered once the storm has been 🤔

Durdle Door 🌊
30 minutes drive from our cottage and you will find yourself on the most magical beach in Dorset, the beloved Durdle Door.
Not for the faint hearted, this is a l0-15 minute walk on uneven paths to get down to the beach, with steep steps that will take your breath away, but so will the scenic views once you arrive.
Choose the Man o War or Durdle Door beach , both absolutely resplendent in this morning’s winter sunshine.

Beat the January blues and book your trip to Dorset, there is so much to see and do here x

Kick-starting this new year with a little stroll at Shell Bay with the Kray Twins (AKA Kiwi & Daphne 🐾 🐾)
Blessed that we have these beautiful beaches not far from our doorstep ❤️
A blustery day to blow the cobwebs away 🌊

🌊 Hive beach and Hive beach Cafe

Took a lovely little trip along the Jurassic coastline to Hive beach at Burton Bradstock for some lunch followed by a blustery walk along the beach.

I love this time of year, stormy seas and cosy cafes.

I highly recommend the , fabulous food with a sit down or takeaway menu and oodles of local fish on the menu.
Hugely popular at all times of the year, cosy in the winter and open air dining surrounded by this glorious coastline in the summer. 🌊

Durlston Country Park National Nature Reserve - Swanage

When in Dorset take a lovely trip out to Durlston.
Dramatic sea cliffs, stunning Jurassic coast line, walking trails, a castle with a rooftop cafe and stunning views, the historic great globe and the Tilly Whim caves.

There is lots to explore on this 320 acre countryside paradise.
