🌿✨ Exciting News from the Ribble Estuary✨🌿

We're thrilled to announce our support for a ground-breaking initiative with the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, unlocking the power of saltmarshes in the fight against climate change. 🌊🌏

In partnership with WWF and Aviva, as well as Natural England, two flux towers have been installed in the Ribble Estuary, marking the first UK installation on saltmarsh. 🌾 The RSPB is delighted to be part of this journey, contributing to the vital research on the role of saltmarsh habitats in mitigating climate change. 📊🌱

Join us in exploring the wonders of blue carbon and the incredible impact these saltmarshes can have on our environment. 🌎🌿 Learn more about this initiative and how we're working towards a brighter, more sustainable future in our recent blog

Fiery-throated Hummingbird is just one of the many extraordinary birds that we will hope to see on our tour to incredible Costa Rica in November.
We will explore highland and lowland forests, subalpine rain paramos, rocky and slow flowing rivers, lagoons, mangroves, marshes, forest swamps, seashore, pastures, rice fields and coffee plantations in this small but wildlife-rich country. We expect to see around 380 species on this two week adventure - for more information or to book your place please email [email protected]
