More classic Icelandic excitement today with several humpbacks seen on our whale-watching trip out of Husavik. Hot chocolate and cinnamon buns included…
Having a cracking time on our tour in Iceland; first full day out and we’ve seen plenty of great stuff including lots of breeding waders including red-necked phalarope, whimbrel, black-tailed godwit & drumming snipe. Arctic skuas, great northern divers, puffins and feisty Arctic terns have added to the fun!
We had absolutely cracking views of pine martin last night, on our current tour in Speyside and the Scottish Highlands.
What fantastic animals!
Been having an amazing time up here in the Scottish Highlands this week.
Highlights so far for the tour group include capercaillie, crested tit, Scottish crossbill, Slavonian grebe, 3 species of diver, snow bunting and stunning views of badger and pine marten! What a trip.
This footage of a very confiding lanceolated warbler was taken on our autumn Shetland tour last year. Other highlights included White’s thrush, Tennessee warbler & Pallas’s grasshopper warbler!
We have just 3 places remaining on our autumn tour this year September 22 - October 6th.
