“… Highlights:
Cragside - wonderfully quirky & a must to visit.
Bamburgh beach for great sandy walks.
Boat trip to Holy Island and around the Farne Islands.
Alnwick Castle - especially if you have kids wanting to practice their broomstick skills.
Barter Books & Alnwick - marvellous.
Places to eat: Mumbai Flavours in Alnwick, Northumberland Arms in Felton, The Running Fox for breakfast.
Hexham races - fantastic course. So many things still to do, means we will be back.
The Arches is a great place to come home to each evening. Hot tub is lovely & there is everything you need for a great stay.

The hot tub has been a fantastic way to relax in the evening, such a comfortable place to stay. Thank you for the lovely fresh eggs, they didn’t last long” 💚

A lot of our guests at The Arches have seen all the hard work that has been put in to The Stables and we are finally ready to start welcoming guests. The Stables is bigger than The Arches with 3 bedrooms. 2 upstairs bedrooms each with a double bed, two single beds and en-suite bathrooms. The third bedroom downstairs has one double bed, an en-suite and best of all… is wheelchair accessible 🥳 This is something we have had many enquiries about in the past and are now very excited to be able to offer ⭐️Further photos to follow!
