Here we go!! You have been asking for a while if we could take you beyond Lake District. Yes we can!! How about climbing Snowdon and Ben Nevis?
Here are 3 dates for 3 Peaks Challenge! You can take advantage to climb all 3 over 3 weeks or simply choose the one you want to do!!

Today is Frankie’s Christmas Play. My favourite day of the year. I’m always getting very excited to see it (and teary during the show).
But as he grows Christmas Plays grow too. Hey are getting a bit more “serious” and children are less likely to make mistakes - which is the best part of it, so adorable! So I always go back to this video when he was in Reception class. My number one of them all 🎅❤️

Not this time…or was it?
Congratulations to Broughton Young Farmers, this year’s winner in the Fundraiser category.
Did we lose? No! If anything, we clapped and cheered when the winner was announced. Why?
Broughton Young Farmers organised and took part in a charity car pull to raise money for Duddon Mountain Rescue.
As you know we are great supporters of Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team- the voluntary organisation saving lives in the Wasdale area, where Basia also volunteers daily. You might have not known, but Duddon Mountain Rescue Team works closely with Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team and supports them on call outs quite often! So how we could not be pleased? It’s like supporting a family member!
It doesn’t matter if we were 1st, 2nd or 3rd. We were in the final. That’s absolutely mind blowing by itself. And Fundraising…doing something you love and help others at the same time…it could not get any better!
We are the finalists! We are the champions! All of us who help ❤️
Ps. Did we mention that Frankie was the only child in the final in all categories? Even got a special meal - chicken nuggets and chips - much better than chicken in wine with fancy dauphinoise potatoes- winner right there!
