Hi instagrammers, this week in my fb group The Travel & Language Hub (click link in bio) we are all about Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I used to go there as a child with my parents in their caravan and with a youth club I was part of. I have very fond memories of Wales. Can’t understand the language though!

On Friday I’ll be chatting live to Kathy Sanderson and co. from Community Camping and Healing Gatherings and Retreats in Llanelli.

Two years ago I went back to Wales for the first time as an adult to Kathy’s healing weekend and I wasn’t disappointed. It was literally magical!! The kids and I had a lovely time and made some lovely new friends.

So glad I chose not to work for a boss in a regular job!
It means that I don’t need to ask permission to go to the hospital to see about my skin cancer diagnosis!

Anyway, they want to put me under a general anaesthetic and cut a chunk out my top lip.

Working for someone else, having to ask permission to go to an appointment or holiday just doesn’t fit right for me.

I’d rather be helping others start their own travel biz, sipping coffee and living life on my own terms.

If you are done with asking permission, ask me how you too can be your own boss.😎

Oh and the willable income that is available is very interesting indeed, should anything happen. I’m sure this cancer will be sorted in no time but having that peace of mind for the future is starting to hit home.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day 🍀

My grandparents were born in Ireland!

Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, is celebrated for his missionary work and role in spreading Christianity throughout Ireland in the 5th century. Born in Britain, he was captured by Irish pirates as a teenager and spent several years as a slave in Ireland. During his captivity, he deepened his faith in Christianity. After escaping, he returned to his homeland but later felt called to return to Ireland as a missionary. Patrick is credited with using the shamrock to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity and is associated with driving snakes out of Ireland, a metaphor for his efforts to eradicate pagan beliefs. His feast day, March 17th, is celebrated worldwide with parades, festivals, and the wearing of green in his honour.
