Hello Everyone, we have FINALLY reached a decision on our first ever photo competition!

We had such an overwhelming response, and it took us a bit longer to go through all the excellent photos and come up with the winners. Not an easy task!

So a massive Thank You to everyone who participated, it was lovely to hear from you and see your wonderful images.

The winners for the 2023 photos prizes are...

1st Place: Catherine Rutland for her stunning sunset view of Loch Ness from Foyers! A beautiful moment of evening calm with incomparable light and colours. Congratulations Catherine!

2nd Place: Nick and Wendy Johnston for their excellent capture of Fingal plying her way down Loch Lochy. One of the best barge portraits we received and easily compares to the professional ones we've had done.

3rd Place: Venetia Caine for capturing a perfect CalDisc moment: bright, sunny skies with an excellent sense of space, place, and people enjoying themselves.

So well done to the winners, it was such a tight decision and there are many runners up (see next post)!

We can't wait to see what photos this year's competition turns up.

We've got a few cabins left on 2 Wildlife and Sea Lochs Cruises now going at special rates!

One trip will visit the Moray Firth Coast where the dolphin pods are very active, and one will cruise Loch Linnhe on the rugged West Coast.

Our first trip of the season!

We walked the Great Glen Way from Inverness to Fort William with a great bunch of folks.

The weather was dramatic, but that's all part of the fun of Highland travel! Didn't even stop people from a customary jump in the loch 😲...

Thanks again to all our guests and crew, it's wonderful to be back out on the water 👋

Fantastic training week with our new crew members and returning long standing team, taking Ros Crana up the Glen to Inverness ready to start our first cruise of the season tomorrow!
So delighted to have Ben ( new chef serving up wonderful food ), Sophie (guide scoping out all the wonderful walks and foraging food for Ben !Rich ( new crew member from Sheppy!) alongside the rest of our wonderful team Adam, Chris and Ruaridh (Roo) .. plus everyone else that makes our cruises run so well .. it feels great to have such a wonderful crew ready to go !

Big News! This year we're running a Photo Competition across all of our cruises... with prizes!

Inspired by so many quality photos from our guests last year, we are introducing a photo competition on our cruises this year. However, we would also like to extend the competition, and prizes, to those who joined us in 2023 as well.

It's a piece of cake to enter:

Send up to 3 of your favourite photos from your trip in jpeg format to [email protected].
Write Your Name + 2023 Photos in the subject line
Please include which cruise you were on and any relevant info about the photos
Deadline for entries is April 1st 2024

Any theme is welcome: wildlife, landscape, people, landmarks, activities, life onboard, meal times or whatever caught your eye along the way!

The prize categories are as follows:
