Hairy Haggis Coaches are looking for an Operations Manager at our Whitburn, West Lothian depot.

As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, legal, and efficient operation of the services offered by the company. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will oversee a team of professionals and take charge of several critical responsibilities, including:

-Managing and coordinating the smooth delivery of our bus routes and driving team ensuring that appropriate staffing levels are maintained delivering punctual and reliable services, putting our customers at the centre of what we do ·

-Ensuring full compliance with the Operator’s Licence requirements and our own Company KPIs

-Monitoring quality in service delivery by forging relationships with internal and external ties. Interacting directly with drivers and customers.

-Ensuring our driving teams are managed effectively, legally and professionally.

-You should ensure high standards of vehicle and colleague presentation.

Our work includes, Rail Replacement, Tours, Scottish Citylink, MegaBus and Schools in our 16, 29, 53, 57 and 74 seater coaches.

At least 2 years operational experience needed. Experience with driving coaches or large vehicles is necessary.

Monday to Friday. Overtime. Weekend availability.

Candidate must have:

-A proactive, engaging and positive attitude.
-A customer focused driven approach.
-Excellent organisational, people and communication skills.
-Proven successful people management in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Annual salary: £45, 000.

Hairy Haggis Coaches are looking for a part time School driver to run our school service to Whitburn Academy.

All drivers must have a category D licence, Digi card, CPC and PVG. If your CPC has expired. No problem; we can put you through and get your CPC up-to-date.

The work would cover the school run Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday off.

Some experience with driving coaches or large vehicles is necessary for this role.

Training and other opportunities are available also.

£300 per week

We are looking for a minimum of three drivers for this service.

Experience with driving coaches or large vehicles is essential. Service work experience is preferred.
