Walnut Cottage - Suffolk

Great to see that Old Hall Farm features in the Good Food Guide's list of 15 Farm to Table Restaurants. Their food is excellent, and it's only a 15 min drive (or why not cycle there) from the cottage. We can also recommend their raw milk from their herd of Jersey cows - delicious!

After a brief hiatus, the hens at neighbouring Rookery Farm are laying again. Eggs can be purchased direct from the farm (subject to availability).

May brings forth flowers... I love this time of year when the garden starts to come to life again. We also have some comfy new patio furniture (with cushions!) and have been working hard at making the garden more secure for canine guests.
