Rock Climbing Taster Day. 🧗‍♀️

13 or 14th July
3 or 4th August

An introduction to climbing on real rock, perfect for those with little or no outdoor climbing experience.

Day will cover:

- Climbing Harness fitting
- Figure of 8 knot
- Safe Belaying Practice
- Climbing Technique
- Bottom rope climbing 🧗‍♀️

All harnesses helmets and gear will be provided on the day😊
Venue: Mournes or North coast TBC

Price is £65pp. max 4 on the day

Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) certificate arrived today! An amazing early Xmas present 🧗‍♀️😊. Am very proud of this qualification and have so much more to learn but delighted to be able to take people out now climbing and abseiling as a qualified instructor. Special thanks had to go who has been most amazing mentor and friend through the whole process. I cannot thank him enough for his fantastic method of teaching and professionalism 😊👌thankyou bryn!
Also really like to thank who has been my climbing partner and has helped me get this qualification immensely 😊also special thanks to following guys who have helped me so much also Ciaran Kinney MCI and Damian Martin @ Foyle Arena

A super weekend at getting REC (Rescue Emergency Care) certified again for another 3 years. A super location and outdoor centre on strangford Lough. An excellent course delivered by Ciaran Kinney.

Glendalough, Wicklow Way and Powerscourt waterfall hiking weekend with 24 ladies from Knockmany Forest Ramblers. A fantastic group and we were spoiled with the amazing mild and warm October weather. Thanks everyone for a super weekend. 🥾☀️

Delighted to have passed my RCI (Rock climbing instructor) 2 day practical assessment in beautiful North Wales. Lots of hard work and effort to get this far! Thanks a million to Bryn Williams Mountaineering for super tuition and a dynamic approach to teaching and learning all about climbing! Highly recommend Bryn as he is an expert in his field 🧗‍♀️. Just some experience to gain now over next few months to get that RCI certificate. Also want to thank Andy Lavery for all help and being my partner climbing up to
Now and helping me along the way. Big shout too Rodney Parker being my partner over last few days.
