Living in Cornwall we love to go to the beach, Now we have a pooch 🐾 we have to think a little more about where to go, So here is my list of top dog friendly beaches in Cornwall to save you hunting the internet on holiday ... Feel free to add your own 🐕

🌊🐾Watergate Bay beach, about 3 miles from Newquay.
Two miles of golden sand at low tide, and out to sea enormous waves come in from the Atlantic providing a spectacular sight. Plenty of space for your fury friend to have a good run around. There is a great cafe on the waterfront too which is dog friendly for those cake stops!

🌊🐾Fistral Beach, Newquay
This beautiful beach is west facing, long and sandy and backed by rocks and cliffs. Fistral is the perfect family, surfing combined with first class beach and seafront facilities including surf equipment hire, lessons and boutiques, showers, toilets (Some restrictions currently due to COVID) car parking, restaurants and cafes. A natural playground for the all including the family dog.

🌊🐾Mexico Towans, Hayle
Part of a glorious four miles of sand that starts from the mouth of the Hayle estuary and reaches out to the lighthouse at Godrevy Point. Dunes provide a great place for your four legged friend to explore!

🌊🐾Carhaeys Beach, St Austell
Gorgeous beach with castles as a backdrop! Dogs do need to be kept on a lead here but very friendly and great little cafe too! Just watch out for weaver fish here 🦶

🌊🐾 Holywell Bay
Newquay outskirts this beach is fab for dogs, With streams and Dunes it's great for a splash and it's a national trust site so bring your membership for free parking!
