❌❌❌Passport Office Strike for 5 Weeks❌❌❌

Anyone Travelling or planning to travel from now over the Summer must be aware that there will be long waits over the next few months as the Passport office have decided to go on strike for 5 weeks, beginning next month.

This strike will have a significant impact on the delivery of passports as more than 1,000 staff members in Passport Offices in England, Scotland and Wales are to walk out from April 3 to May 5.
The strike will involve those working in Durham, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Newport, Peterborough and Southport.

Summer holidays are very nearly here and as most of you know I have 4 mini humans to entertain (although 1 is bigger than me now🤣) In order to maintain a great work life balance and to be able to look after my existing customers I am making some changes to the way I work from now until September

First of all I want to reassure my customers with existing bookings that I am still here (apart from when I’m on holiday myself) and will be around to answer any questions, queries, etc

However I will not be taking any new customers that need holidays finding for them. I will be again after the children return to school in September this is just a temporary change to help me free up some time. I will however still be able to beat a quote you have got yourself online with Jet2 if you know the holiday you want, just screen shot me the details and I will see what I can do for you

Things have been very busy recently and I am taking a little longer than normal to get back to people.

I just want to be honest and explain how I work a little and I hope you understand why it’s taking a little longer for me to get back to you with quotes

I believe that customers who have bookings with me already and have handed over hard earned 💷 should be prioritised. This is why you will see I have not been advertising on my page recently. Although I only get paid for new bookings, my responsibility is to see my customers are happy until they jet off. The way I see it is if I had paid someone for a service and then when I needed them to help they were to busy gaining new customers, I wouldn’t be happy!

So I have chosen to prioritise my customers this way, I hope you agree this is the most responsible thing to do while I am so busy as I only have so many hours in a day.

I will get back to those requesting quotes as quickly as I can.

I’m back in the office after my much needed holiday✈️☀️ especially after being so poorly the week before I went! 😩 I just wanted to pop a little message to everyone (I say little but there’s nothing very little about it) 🤣🤣

Before I went away I was super busy, which is great. I will never moan about being busy after the last couple of years but it has got to a point where I was unable to get back to people as quick as I would like to and I was becoming burnt out. I’m a mum to 4 which is a full time job itself before I start my full time job! But I love what I do and I wouldn’t change it. As my business grows I need to ask a few favours from my customers to help me.

Lots of my friends and family book holidays through myself and I am more than happy to help you. You are where my business started and you helped me grow. Please can I ask moving forward that everyone messages me through my business page rather than my personal Facebook/texts. This just makes my life so much easier to have my work all in one place. I just forget them request are there when I sit down at my desk I open my page and can forget that you text me!

I get so many requests each day from people who haven’t booked with me about restrictions testing etc or from my customers who have booked but are asking on behalf of their friend/neighbour/postman I wish I could help everyone but I can’t. I also get asked things like how much luggage allowance they get, or even to check there booking confirmation for the holiday they booked online.
I work on commission only, I don’t get paid by the hour like staff in store I get paid for the holidays I book and that travel and answering these is taking me away from my existing customers questions/requests and my new customers who want to book with me so I can earn a living. To you I know you think this is only a 5 minute job but I get several of these messages everyday and unfortunately I can no longer give my time away for free. I hope you understand that ❤️.

All the holidays I book require a deposit, usually £60pp, or if traveling in the next 14 weeks full payment. can I please ask if you are not in a position to pay the deposit/balance you hold of enquiring until you can. Holidays fluctuate all the time. The best deal I find you today may not be the best deal next month when you get paid. Free child places are often gone in hours or even minutes. Looking in advance of when you want to/are ready to book is not in anyones interest

Iv got a inbox full of messages that I will work through as quick as I can.

Goodbye April

Well April has been my busiest month since I began on this ‘adventure’ 🤣 nearly 2 and a half years ago!

In that time there has been some really low lows but I feel like now it’s my time to enjoy some highs! Booking and sending you all off on your holidays makes me smile, and getting feedback and recommendations makes me smile even more!!

This month a massive 99 of you have booked your holidays with me 😲😲 Some have been and gone already some don’t travel till 2023. Turkey has by far been the absolute star of the show this month with 34 of them 99 customers all jetting off to Turkey!

You will have noticed my page has been quiet of deals the last couple of weeks , I’m still here but along with all them new bookings Iv had lots of people departing and have been checking in many of my customers ready to go in May!
