WHITBY REGATTA 2024! 🏆🏅🎠🎡🚣🎆
A 3 day carnival at land and at sea!

The 182nd Regatta, One of the oldest sea regatta's in the country, also believed to be the oldest in the North.

A FREE 3-day event for all the family including rowing races, entertainment, Fun Fair, vintage commercial veichle display, Solar viewing and Star party, Scrufts Dog Show, Regatta Sail Past and launch, Spit and Polish Classic car rally, Motor Cycle and Quad Bike Gymkhana, The Whitby Regatta Fun Run, Whitby Falconeers, Jez Avery Stunt Show, Meet Dalek Panther, Amazing Captain Kipper, Whitby Regatta Swim, Pick a Pen, Floats and Fancy Dress parade & facepaiting.

And not forgetting Monday's Grand Firework finale at 9.45pm; which each year brings the Whitby Regatta to a stunning dramatic close. Brought to you by Illumination Pyrotechnics Ltd "A Sky Full Of Wonder". 🎆🎇✨

17th, 18th & 19th August 2024

The Regatta is organised by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and sponsors, so pleased don't forget to give generously to the collection buckets throughout the weekend if you can, to ensure the long term future of Whitby's premier event.

WHITBY REGATTA
17th - 19th August

What started as a small competition between fishers has become the oldest sea regatta in England, with large crowds gathering for the past 173 years.

WSW Events are privileged to be involved with this veritable maritime institution by offering a Whitby Regatta Market in The Royal Hotel Ballroom Whitby on the Sat and Sun of the Regatta.

There is a fab mix of vendors include clothing, homewares, jewellery and vintage, and a small exhibition of the history of Whitby Regatta organised by our friends at Whitby Museum.

Come stay in our "exceptional" property which is close to amenities yet quiet. Dog friendly because they need a holiday too!!
Whitby is a beautiful place to stay.

Plenty of availability at Tides and The Old Post Office. Both within 10-15 mins walk of the bridge and that Whitby has to offer.

Great rates, free parking allowed in streets around it. Pet friendly, spacious and comfortable, all mod cons. 10 minutes walk from the Swing Bridge but far enough away to be quiet on an evening.

So M&T Holiday Lets are now going it alone....eeeek....exciting. We have parted company with the management company following a few "faux pas" on their behalf which damaged our reputation.
I have updated the page with OUR booking.com adverts, but for a better deal message us direct, be quick though as the bookings are already flying in.

Whitby Regatta is an absolute institution and an incredible event drawing tens of thousands annually to enjoy all full weekend of free entertainment, embracing yacht and rowing racing, aerial flypasts and spectacular firework displays.

With kind permission of Whitby Regatta we are happy to announce the first, nay inaugural Whitby Regatta Market to be held in The Royal Hotel Ballroom on Sat 17th and Sun 18th August to coincide with their fabulous event.
