We love this lit up Redwood in Northumberland at Cragside! It’s apparently the Tallest Christmas Tree in the UK!

One day we need to do this at Punch Tree Cabins as they are everywhere! Let’s measure our Redwoods, they are massive too!!!

Running a self catering business is fantastic and very rewarding.
We welcome strangers into our space and hope that they enjoy it. Our reviews are delightful and we have many happy, returning customers.
But, sadly, behind the scenes we get the odd ones that sneak off having damaged items, broken things and leave us feeling incredibly upset and the disrespect given to us and our beautiful cabins. Why does this happen? How can people do this?
It’s the down side to self catering I’m afraid. What can we do about it? Ask them to pay for the damage? Usually it’s a ‘no’ as they have ‘sneaked off’ for a reason.
I wrote this as it’s been 5 seasons of watching this happen time and time again.
We’ve had to change the way our business runs and look out for any vandalism.
Imagine doing that to someone else’s property?
This week was burnt out pots and burnt wood from THEIR candles in numerous places to the interior of our cabin. We don’t allow naked flames and guess what, it’s a wooden cabin and yes, they are a fire hazard. 😡
Why and how can you let this happen?? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
We thank our 99 % of amazing guests but, it’s the 1% that can desimate the place sadly.

As summer is drawing to a close of our 5th Season here at Punch Tree Cabins, we wanted to say Thank You!

We have had an incredibly busy and exciting season with fabulous guests from all over the World! Kuwait, Switzerland, Tenerife, Boston, Wales, England and of course, Scotland.
