💫The cottage is a recently renovated historical little gatehouse at the top of Netherby Hall drive, and can be used to base yourself at for as long as you wish.
The walls are covered in reclaimed wood, with a brand new kitchen, snug with wood burning fire, shower room and boot room all downstairs. And upstairs a king size bed and wonderful roll top bath overlooking the garden. Out the back of the house, there is a large decking with BBQ and furniture to sit outside and relax! Or follow the secret path into the woods where there is a wood burning outdoor bath all to yourselves.
💫The cottage sits on the Netherby Estate, which is packed full of history and nature. You are free to wander around the estate where you will discover the River Esk, acres of beautiful parkland, and the old suspension bridge taking you across to Kirkandrews Church.
There is a huge amount of wildlife in the area including red squirrels and roe deer, and you’ll hopefully get to see salmon jumping in the river. There are plenty of different birds from ducks and geese to buzzards, herons and sparrow hawks.
