Jon Foreman transforms ordinary beaches into stunning works of art using only natural elements. With stones of all shapes and sizes, he creates mesmerizing whirlpools, spirals, and waves that appear to flow despite being perfectly still. His work is more than just creative expression—it’s a deep connection to nature itself.

Ok, these time zones are seriously weird.

But, here’s how time zones are defined:
Time follows the Earth’s rotation.
Some governments adjust the time to match neighboring or allied countries.
And in some places, twice a year, they switch to daylight savings time and move the clocks forward or backward.

And that’s how we end up extremes of huge countries with just one time zone and then others where the time changes by 45-minute increments!

es, it looks like a tram crashed straight into the sidewalk, but in reality, this is Bockenheimer Warte, Frankfurt’s most bizarre metro station.

Built in 1986, it’s the architectural masterpiece of Zbigniew Peter Pininski, who took inspiration from René Magritte to create an installation that would grab your attention—and let’s just say, mission accomplished.

The goal? To reassure residents about the expansion of public transport by turning the entrance into a piece of art that blends functionality and creativity. The result? One of the strangest and most iconic stations in Europe.

The village is located on the Olkuska plateau, in the Kraków province, and it’s called Suloszowa.
There’s no typical village center here where streets intersect and houses spread out; no, in Suloszowa, everything goes straight. Literally. All the houses are lined up one after another along a single main road, forming a line that seems endless, stretching about 9 km!
Why this layout? Apparently, it's the result of a highly functional, historical choice: in the past, when safety and cooperation were essential, this setup allowed the inhabitants to better defend themselves and share resources with ease.
Imagine a street where each neighbor is just a door away, and you can knock on anyone’s door without losing sight of the view of the main street.

Ever thought about extending your birthday? Paul Morgan not only thought about it, he did it, making it into the Guinness World Record.
His journey began in Samoa, went through New Zealand and Los Angeles, and ended in Hawaii, stretching his birthday out to a full 48 hours.
Most of the time, though, he spent celebrating on the plane… was it worth it?

New York without its bodega cats? Unimaginable. These furry gatekeepers of corner stores have been a staple in the city’s DNA for decades, earning their keep not just with charm, but with a job: serious pest control. In the early days, they were the often overlooked heroes behind the counter, vigilantly keeping mice and other intruders at bay.

But as New York evolved, so did the role of these whiskered workers. The city’s hustle and melting-pot energy turned them from simple store guardians to full-blown local celebrities. Suddenly, they weren’t just there to do a job; they were there to make your coffee run a little more interesting and your late night snack stop feel like home.

Social media took this adoration to another level. With one snapshot and a few hashtags, bodega cats started trending, becoming viral stars beyond the city’s five boroughs. Mainstream media caught on too. These four-legged friends graced articles, TV segments, even documentaries, as symbols of everything New York loves about itself: resilience, quirk, and a dash of attitude.

Today, they’re more than just mascots, they’re icons. In a city increasingly overrun by big chains and commercial sameness, bodega cats stand proudly as reminders of the real New York: independent, full of character, and unapologetically local.
