We started this venture as two passionate Boro fans who travel to the majority of away games and having experienced a number of different travel options it became clear the best way to travel was on a coach; no fuel fees, no parking fees up on arrival etc!
Having put our heads together and thought about all the coaches we’d travelled on to the games and the different providers we decided that ‘quiet coaches’ were so draining, so mundane and so boring that it was hard to be excited for the 90 minute game of football in the middle of the journey. A ‘quiet coach’ is a coach that allows talking only to the person sat next to you, no music, no songs or chants and typically only 1 stop (depending on distance).
The coaches we really enjoyed (but very rare to find!) we ones that allowed music, chatter and banter from the front to the back, a coach that was equipped with food and drink to snack on, and a coach that stopped before arriving at the destination for a chance to have a proper meal and drink without the over inflated prices for typically microwaved goodness!
Teesside Travel was born with every intention of extending that 90 minute, passion fuelled chanting, singing and dancing to the journey to and from the stadiums around the country - extended further to include music gigs and other sporting events too and seasonal shopping trips to Manchester and Edinburgh!
