⛴️🥰So I’m back from a stunning week onboard AMA Viola. I have sailed through 4 different countries; Hungary, Slovakia, Austria & Germany & stopped at 8 different destinations: Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Weißenkirchen, Grein, Linz, Passau & Vilshofen.

❤️From the moment I arrived onboard I was greeted with warm smiles from all crew members and luxury surroundings. Check in was seamless and took less than 2 minutes. I arrived at my river view cabin to ultimate comfort, every detail taken care of, including my own AMA waterways travel wallet and luggage tag, a beautiful personal touch.

My highlight this week…THE FOOD🍽️ Every meal was superb, from breakfast with a choice of pastries, light bites or made to order omelet’s, to lunch and dinner with multiple courses that can only be compared to Michelin star restaurants.
All meals are made with locally sourced ingredients from each port and come with fine wines to complement the menu. 😍

Cruising the Danube itself is simply breathtaking, something I would recommend everyone to do in their lifetime. From vibrant cities to stunning quaint villages, tied in with picturesque views as you sail from port to port makes for a truly unforgettable experience.
With all excursions included there is something for everyone to do in each destination whether you want to explore the historic castle of Grein or sample some local brew in Bratislava…they’ve got you covered 🏰🍺

River cruising is relaxed and intimate, the ultimate way to experience so many destinations without the hassle of packing & unpacking, just a slow paces adventure through Europe 😍

So would I choose to do another river cruise?
Yes I absolutely would. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or looking for a new adventure, I would highly recommend a river cruise. It’s a perfect way to indulge and explore in such an intimate luxury surrounding.

What a beautiful city this is.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon sightseeing and took a trip to the Szechenyi Spa - an absolute must for anyone visiting Budapest.

Today we are heading out to do a little more sightseeing before boarding AMA Viola for 7 nights 😍

✨Just a heads up that my out of office will be going on at 6pm this evening and I won’t return to work until 19th August at 10am.

😍I have been lucky enough to be invited onboard AMA Viola and shall be sailing down the Danube from Budapest to Vilshofen. 😍

A little about me...

I have over 6 years experience within the travel industry. I began my travel career in 2008, where I completed my apprenticeship training with TUI and quickly progressed my career throughout the years. After taking a break to raise my young family and pursue a new career, I am now back doing what I love, finding my clients their perfect holiday.

Holidays are a huge part of my life, its when we get to spend quality time together as a family and as a couple. Im lucky enough to have visited some wonderful destinations and I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you all.

I will always strive to do my very best for each of my clients and I hope that we can build some great relationships going forward.
