Also a big shout out to Alys, our housekeeper, who keeps everything running ship shape on the ground!
Cosy corner… My spot for watching a half term film last night (Lift on if you’re interested - good bit of family fun). A lazy morning today while hubby does some work, then off for a good long walk in a bit. Hoping we dodge the showers!! 🌧️ I imagine ice creams will be requested rain or shine though!!!

What a fabulous summer!! We are absolutely thrilled to have been fully booked for the whole of the summer holidays and beyond. We have welcomed some truly wonderful guests and have received lots of really lovely reviews. It’s an honour to be able to open up our cottage to guests so they can enjoy the delights Southwold has to offer!

So lovely to see the sun yesterday (finally!). It seems to be sneaking out today too for a brief appearance so hope our guests this week are having a lovely time in Southwold. I haven’t posted a picture of the front of the cottage since the shutters went in… It was gloriously sunny today and the cottage is looking splendid! The shield is pretty special too - this row of cottages were some of the first ever council funded rental homes in the country, back in 1905. Pretty cool and we have the plaque right above our front door 😊

Sleeping is very important to us, especially when we go in holiday, so we made sure we chose the comfiest most luxurious beds we could find for Number Fifteen. Our master bedroom boasts a 5900 pocket sprung mattress for your sleeping pleasure. Sorry if you don’t want to leave… 😴
