✨ 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 £𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 ✨

Perfect Getaways held a Charity Ball on the 18th March and raised over £8,000 for St John’s Hospice (Wirral) and Trinity Hospice (Blackpool)

On Saturday the 18th of March 2023. Nicola & David Palmer (Husband and wife) and directors of Perfect Getaways held their first Charity Ball at the Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa, Wirral.

This was to raise as much money as possible for two hospice’s. St John’s Hospice Wirral and Trinity Hospice Blackpool. Nicola’s brother was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2022, so this is a charity very dear to their hearts.

Guests were treated to a delicious 3 course meal and the evening was compered by northwest radio presenter Claire Simmo, with live entertainment from the X-factor’s Ray Quinn. Local DJ Dave Bladen supplied the evening with tunes into the early hours.

Through an on-the-night auction, raffle tickets and seat sales over £8,000 was raised for the two hospices.

Nicola Palmer “I was delighted with the success of the night and overwhelmed with the support given on the night from all our guests. To be able to raise over £8,000 for two very heart-warming charities was phenomenal. We are now looking to organise our next event and turn this into an annual evening.”

Items auctioned included a 5 night holiday to Dubai, hospitality tickets to Liverpool Football Club and St Helens Rugby Club, a 3 night holiday to Cyprus courtesy of Constantinou Bro’s Athena Beach Hotel, a number of signed football shirts from Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City and two 3-day tickets to Silverstone courtesy of Perfect Getaways.

Raffle prizes were donated by local businesses from across Cheshire, Wirral and Merseyside.

Thank you to everyone that helped with the organisation, the cash donations and prize/auction donations.
