🗣️:”I first visited Greenland nearly seven years ago and was instantly struck by the rugged beauty and grand scale of the landscape and ice. It is the land of superlatives, as the world’s largest island it is also home to the biggest national park and fjord system on the planet. Weaving through sea ice, to enter the labyrinth that is Scoresby Sound, gives way to some of the most incredible Arctic landscapes I’ve been fortunate to witness and photograph. It’s the kind of place I feel can never be done justice with a camera, remaining a true wilderness you must see to believe.

Remote and wild East Greenland is my favourite, and I’m greatly looking forward to returning this September, working as expedition photographer on MS Fram. As summer begins to release its grasp, the Arctic days will be rapidly shortening, as the biting cold of the polar air intensifies. As we sail onwards into September, the quality of light will become more magical by the day.”
