🎇It’s estimated to cost $18 million a year for Disney to put on their firework displays. Disney won’t release the information but that’s an estimated guess
🎇Most fireworks use gunpowder for launch, but they use compressed air
🎇 There’s no fireworks at Animal Kingdom, Disney doesn’t want to distress the animals, so keeps them far away
🎇 If there’s no rainfall over the summer, Disney will cut back on the amount of fireworks, to avoid potential wildfires

Cunard ships now connect to shore power - that's one step to sustainability! 🛳️⚓
Cunards' current fleet of three ships are now capable of connecting to shore power when docked in port. New ship, Queen Anne launching in May 2024 will also have this technology installed. The move allows ships to switch off their onboard engines whilst in port, to reduce emissions and noise by connecting to the local electricity grid. Bravo Cunard!
