The Falkirk Kelpies-Modelled on two Clydesdale draft horses named Duke and Baron, these massive metal equines carry the same names and stand 30 meters tall, each weighing some 300 metric tons. It's difficult to project the scale of these critters until you stand next to them, it is free to visit or you can book a tour and go inside and have a look.

Tucked away, in the quiet old Forth street in Kincardine you will find the smallest bar in Scotland. Officially The Railway Tavern, however it has many names. Locals call it Scotlands, it was built in 1700's and was called the Ferry Inn. It changed its name when the railway was built in the late1800's. The pub has been in the 'Scotlands' family for over a 100 years and is the oldest family license in Scotland. More importantly it's a wee gem of a pub. Ronnie the current landlord will give you a warm welcome.

Along the Fife coastal path from Dalgety Bay to Aberdour you can find Charles hill and the 15th century Monks cave. This was used as a storehouse for Monks on Inchcolm Abbey and also as a resting place while they waited on a ferry to Inchcolm Island. Later it was used as storage during WWll, this was when the concrete steps were added. The last photo is looking out to Inchcolm Abbey on the Firth of Forth.
You can take a boat trip from south Queensferry on the Maid of the Forth to visit the island and Abbey.
