🎉 12 Days, 12 Runs, 60 Kilometers – All for CHAS! 🎉

This December, I’m challenging myself to run 5K every day for 12 days to raise funds for CHAS (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) – a charity that provides vital care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families. ❤️

What a fab morning you can have along at the Marina. So many lovely shops to walk into and spend loads of 💰 if you have any left with having a kid on holiday with you 🤣🤣

Kira loves it 💕

I never want to see a La Playa shop again in my life! Kira must by now have every single item you can buy in the place 🙈

Have you been to Costa Teguise for the Aquapark with the kids???

Well, I am all for promoting Playa Blanca and the water park here which is 2 minutes from Casa Kira but we have been there so many times over or visits we wanted to do something else and this water park was ACE 🛝

Aqua Park is about a 40 mins drive from Playa Blanca, on such an easy drive so it’s no problem or you can use the public transport or a travel arranged visit.

You could probably stay here the full day with the kids as there is so much to do but we went for a half day ticket which was perfect for us 💦

If you pre book online (easy to do) you also get a further 8% off the price. We paid €48.46 2 adults and 1 child and it was well worth the 💰

Kira sleeps a max of 6 guests but also comfortably sleeps couples and small families.

There is a massive outside area where you can sit in the sun all day or take cover and read a book 📕

If you’re looking for a gym while staying in either Kira or Verde this is a fantastic space.

It’s basically a 5 min walk if that from Kira, no time at all and you are there!

I train here for my HYROX and the staff are amazing and so welcoming 💪

Equipment is all top quality 💕

Our new Hot Tub in Casa Kira is absolutely AMAZING . So happy we spent the 💰 and got a good one! . This was so relaxing to be in everyday, after running, walking and just generally chilling out! . Casa Verde, Playa Blanca

Casa Verde is a modern 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa located on a quiet cul-de-sac street tastefully furnished and very comfortable. This villa is well equipped and offers all the comforts of home and more. It is situated in the Costa Papagayo area and is only a 15 minute walk to beaches and centre of Playa Blanca. Features of the villa include total privacy-large garden, pool and terrace areas surrounded by high walls which make it both safe and quiet, off street parking and parking on site for 2 cars, heated swimming pool (8m x 4m) and outdoor hot tub, alarm security system, full air conditioning, lounge and master bedroom leading out to pool terrace area, covered outdoor dining area with gas BBQ, fireplace and seating area, American style kitchen with all modern appliances and Internet TV which gives guests access to the many UK and Irish TV channels, Sports & Movie channels and much more besides! There is no additional charge for pool heating, outdoor hot tub or air conditioning. We also offer free Wifi access.

A little about Casa Verde. The Villa was rented out for 10 years by its previous owners and within those years they have had many guests stay with them and some guests revisiting several times through out the year.

I was unable to take over the reviews from the previous owners but they have told me that they had received 46/47 reviews which were 5 star. The 1 which was a 3 star, was due to there not being safe access into the pool area. We are having this rectified by adding a hand rail to help with getting in and out of the pool at the steps.

We intend to keep up the high standards that people have come to expect at Casa Verde.
