This wonderful gin is made just a short hop across the border in Dorset and comes in a array of various different types. A chilly mornings walk around this morning and a stop off if you want cake that's "this good" definitely take the 15min drive across to Sherborne when staying with us. Lily certainly would reccomend!

A beautiful sight at Yeovil Junction this afternoon. As the sun set this feat of engineering got ready to head back to London after a Christmas special brought groups to Sherborne. The Junction is only 15 minutes drive from the house and has all kinds of events year round with its own steam and attractions for the little ones in the form of a ride on mini steam train!

A visit to Sherborne today for Remembrance Sunday and another chance to capture some of the beautiful architecture in the Abbey Town. Even having grown up in the town it never gets lost in me how wonderful it is. Always worth a trip when staying with us and the best part is many of the cafes and shops are dog friendly too!

A beautiful and serene walk this afternoon at the local country park in Yeovil. Only ten minutes from the house lies this wonderful woodland with a multitude of walks, streams, ponds and more with a play park for the children and café for the fuel to get you round, 😊 its a dog walkers paradise

Our peaceful village of Montacute is just brimming with fantastic architecture and historical features, including the church which can be dated all the way back to before the 12th century. A walk around the village and into Montecute house will make you feel like you have stepped back in time.
