I wish you all a great 2025. 2024 has not been the best year for me . My dad died, and I lost my way. Grief comes in different ways, and I learned that a long time ago. While people may say live life for you , I would say life is all about the people you surround yourself with. You don't need a lot of friends, you need a few friends that love you for you. I may not be popular, but I really don't give a s**t !!! Love me or hate me it's up to you. I am thankful for those few people who love me for me.💖💖💖

🇰🇭 Final Day of Ride 🚴‍♀️

It's better late than never. Our last day of the ride took us around the glorious . I truly can't believe that these buildings were lost amongst the trees for hundreds of years 🤔.

It always amazes me how these immense buildings were built. There are over 1000 buildings around the site 🤯🤯.

What an amazing place to finish our journey. Travelling through 2 wonderful countries and seeing the local way of life in such a unique way truly has been amazing. I just hope that time doesn't change these beautiful people and their countries.

I have had the best time , met some beautiful people who have made me laugh & cry. , it wouldn't have been the same if we didn't have you. You made the trip for everyone. What a gem of a person you are, with the biggest heart 💖.

Now, I want to start thinking about my next adventure. Keep watching to see where life takes me 😊.

🇰🇭 Day 3 Cambodia

Today, we arrived at our final hotel for the last 3 nights of our trip. One last cycle ride, then a few days to chill and check out the local hangouts.

I've never been so excited not to have to repack my suitcase for a few days and maybe a lie in 4.30am wake up calls I am done with 🤣.

Our final hotel has a spa, so I booked myself in for a cheeky massage at the bargain price of $20 for an hour. It was heaven. A well-deserved treat, I feel 💖

🇰🇭 Day 2 Cambodia

No rest for the wicked, another 5am wake up to be out and on the road by 6am. Making the most of the cool mornings.

Cycling through local villages and Buddhist Temples. All the school kids came out to see us, wish I had thought about bringing some pens and colouring books to hand out to them🤦‍♀️.

Unfortunately, I had to bow out after lunch. The upset tummy decided to rear its ugly head, and cycling with a 💩 bottom is not a good idea 🤣.

🇻🇳 Cambodia Day 1

Today was a ride free day. However, it was a long one. After leaving Vietnam, our journey to Cambodia took about 6 hours, including getting through border control.

We arrived in Phnom Penh, and we headed to the Killing Fields 😟. It's was a very sombre hour, but I will do a separate post on this, probably when I get back home.

Then, we had another bike fitting for our new rides 🚴‍♀️. After that, we headed to yet another hotel.

This one was beautiful. It had a lovely rooftop pool and a sky bar & restaurant 💖.

🇻🇳 Vietnam Day 3

Today, we visited the floating market before our cycle ride. It's such a great way to buy local produce for the shops and restaurants.

Then, on for another long cycle, heading towards the Cambodian border where we have our last night before crossing.

I am looking forward to seeing the difference between these 2 countries.

A day off riding tomorrow but a 4-5 hour boat ride to Phnom Penh. Excited to be moving on 🤗.

Another early start, up for 5.30 am and out for 6.15 am. Making the most of the cooler mornings

Another big cycle day today. We past waterlily ponds, temples, Paddy Fields, and so much more.

The people here are super friendly, and the kids get so excited to see you waving as we cycle past 🚴‍♀️

75km through some beautiful scenery, but we were all cream crackered at the end.
