Did you know, not only is this the first Oktoberfest in 3 years, but it’s also a very special year in the fact that Oktoberfest 2022 finishes on a Monday.

Monday the 3rd is German unity day and commemorates the anniversary of east and west germanys reunification in 1990.

And just like that, Portugal goes on the amber list 😫

Our business model is based around people, we create the campsite and you guys create the atmosphere. Without hoards of people from around the world you can’t create the full experience. That being said it’s with a heavy heart that we are closing the Portugal campsite for the summer. Everyone who has already booked will be contacted and refunded. And hopefully we will be back on in 2022.

Lost souls travel

With events banned at least until the end of August, the Oktoberfest has become the latest victim of lockdown. Although slated to start September 19, the world's biggest beer festival will not happen this year.
