Recieved these lovely photographs from our latest guests Abbey, Chris and Red "
How handsome is Red! ❤️ 🐾

They had a lovely stay and dined in the Holly tree hotel just 1.4 km along the cycle track behind the cottage. Look at that seafood 🤤

We love to see what our guests get up to on their stays- fabulous photographs and they definitely lucked out with the weather!

Our heat and eat mussels and langoustines looking as yummy as usual 😍 - freshly made and ready and waiting for you to take home, or to your home away from home...they are particularly popular with our campervan customers, as are our picnic boxes!

Speaking of picnic boxes...we are expecting more ☀️ picnic weather ☀️ tomorrow 🙌.

Make sure you stop by our deli for a bite to eat to take with you on your travels or to enjoy on our benches by Loch Leven.

Open 10am to 8.30pm, Thursday to Monday.

We have apricot and apple bostock on the counter today 👌

Brioche with apricot jam, apple compote and frangipane - so delicious 😋

Foccacia Sandwiches have been selling super fast so sorry to anyone who has been left disappointed 😥 our aim is to make more each day 😊

I don’t even know what to say…
The Aurora Borealis - Glencoe Scotland
Being the first time I’ve seen the Northern lights properly, I spent the whole time with goosebumps, shaking in excitement. 3 grown men stood on the shores of a loch screaming at midnight… honestly hands down the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen 🥲

This trip continues to deliver…

Road trip to Lagnaha cottage means a stop off at Stiff Peaks patisserie in Ballachulish - I had to go with the Cullen skink and a broccoli quiche which I “shared” with the husband.
Food is divine, just excuse me whilst I do a happy food dance 💃 🤤

Cuil bay, a beautiful 5k walk from Lagnaha cottage. Start from the Struans cycle track, perfect for little ones on their bikes and your four legged babies.

For wild water swimming, the views are spectacular, just be aware that the odd seal might come along to say hi 👋 and it really is cold brrrrrrrr 🦭 🏊‍♀️ 🥶

Stiff peaks in Ballachulish….. possibly the prettiest pattiserie I have visited. Decisions decisions as everything is so beautiful 😍 All made in house by the very talented Lyndsay. Today we had a lemon meringue & white chocolate & raspberry tart…. wow 😮 sooooo tasty 🤤. You MUST visit! And if you’re more of a savoury soul, the homemade sausage rolls are also fabulous! Or just have both- we did! Stiff Peaks
