The last few days have been absolutely amazing. It really felt we were somewhere tropical yesterday whilst on the beach at Kilaulay, South Uist. Not a soul in sight 😍.

What an incredible start to the day! Brunch at Kallin Shellfish Ltd Cafe. Crab roll, fresher than most would ever have had. A wee stroll around the harbour to see the beautiful sights. It is such a pretty place.

Amazing day trip to Stornoway today on our new Hebridean Airways plane. The weather was on our side and it made for a wonderful experience.

Due to dealing with my diagnosis I have been very remiss at posting for a long time now. The cottages have remained fully open due to an amazing team who have surrounded me through this journey. I am very blessed and grateful ♥️.

Tonight I ventured out just a few miles down the road to a beautiful spot I frequently visit. On chemotherapy weeks it’s all I can manage but wow oh wow what a place to have so near. I couldn’t wish to be anywhere more beautiful to rest, heal and beat this awful disease. Counting my blessings every single day!

Where ever you look on these beautiful islands there are colours, shapes and patterns. As the main season is slowing down with Scottish schools going back in a few weeks, why not book a late holiday and see for yourself what the islands have to offer. Wow what an opening season we’ve had! A learning curve, wrinkles ironed out and the shear joy of welcoming some amazing guests. If this year is anything to go by then we will be so privileged going forward with the people we welcome to our magnificent islands. The sharing of holiday excitement and experiences is such a magical thing to share. Thank you all so very much for trusting us with your dreams 💕. Apologies for the radio silence. My son has come home for the first time in 18 months so we are having some quality time together. Second day trip today and this time we are heading over to Barra. Such a beautiful drive down and quick ferry crossing. Cannot wait to visit Ardmhor Coffee at the Ferry Terminal.
