This year Wild Swimming Club is working in partnership with https://skyblueadventures.co.uk, running Waterfalls events, for Charities. This is a fantastic way to raise money for over 60 charities, throughout the UK, Sky Blue Adventures are already working with!

New Year's Day Waterfall Challenge!

To start the New Year, I will be running a FREE Waterfalls challenge event in Keld Richmond.

We will visit 3 of the North East's most beautiful waterfalls; Wain Wath Force, East Gill Force and Kisdon Force challenging ourselves to swim/dip in all 3 waterfalls during the 5 hour event. We will practice breath work and learn about cold water therapy.

At the weekend I had the pleasure of taking these 6 lovely ladies on the Wild Swimming Club ‘Introduction to Wild Swimming and Waterfalls’ course…. they smashed all 3 waterfalls in this 5 hour event!

@followers START YOUR NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT! Introduction to Winter Wild Swimming & Waterfalls new year dates... Sunday 7th January 2024 Sunday 4th February 2024 Winter wild swim waterfall adventure with a guided walk around Keld, North Yorkshire. The guest will visit 3 of the North East's most beautiful waterfalls; Wain Wath Force, East Gill Force and Kisdon Force challenging yourselves to swim/dip in all 3 waterfalls during the 5 hour event. We will practice breath work and learn how to enter the water in colder conditions. Cold water therapy has been reported to benefit the body in many ways, including: • Reducing muscle pain and stiffness after exercise, by reducing swelling and inflammation • Improving risk factors for cardiovascular disease, such as blood pressure and cholesterol levels • Boosting the immune system, helping to lower the risk of infection • Improving general wellbeing, and possibly helping with depression Included in the package will be a free 'Wild Swimming Club' beanie hat and hot drinks and snacks. I will also take lots a photos and videos along the way which I can share with everyone after, dogs are more than welcome. The event is full insured with and will be attended by an RLSS open water life guard (Michael Monkman).
