GO YOUR OWN WAY!
We like The Tavern on the Bay, to play on the park and the restaurant itself. From Nant Bychan you can drive there in around 7 minutes, walk along the beach at low tide or via the coastal path in around 20 minutes at a steady pace; you can go your own way!
Once there, there’s a varied menu for family dining, with views out to sea. Large outdoor terrace too, so whether it’s a few drinks or a full blown meal, it’s a great place to visit. HIDDEN TREASURE!
We got the call from our solicitor’s to say the sale had completed, but before the agent brought the keys we had to strim our way to the front door!! Then there was the pre fab garage and the metal shutters at the windows….it feels like a lifetime ago, but here she is in all her glory! Nant Bychan is nicely set back from the road with some greenery for privacy and ample parking for 3 cars. South facing rear garden with patio, grassed area and barbecue terrace. We’ve had a holiday here ourselves this week, the first time we’ve been without a huge list of jobs. Still plenty of gardening to do but that will come. Happy holidays 🍻

We LOVE food….and the occasional drink of course! From a cup of tea with a biscuit, to fish and chips with a beer or a beautifully cooked Welsh fillet steak and a glass of red. There’s a time and a place for them all? All of the places pictured are within walking distance or at most, a 10 minute drive from Nant Bychan, a great selection for all tastes and budgets. This space was looking pretty tired and was crying out for a transformation……keep watching to see our newly refurbished open plan living space.
