A little late in the season but pleased to introduce ‘SEA VIEW VILLA’ on North Drive in Great Yarmouth.
North drive boasts Great Yarmouth’s best sea front properties with unobstructed panoramic sea views.
The property has 4 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, 21/2 baths, dining area , kitchen, a very large patio with outdoor lounge and dining area. Large garden with a pergola. Multi car drive.
Because of having been pre-advertised, August is nearly fully booked with only 21-25 August available.

***Please be careful this weekend***

If you’re on the beach or going into the sea for a swim over the next couple of days please take extreme caution.

The tides this weekend will flow at their fastest.

It means if you get in the sea at one spot you might be carried up or down the coast and indeed further out to sea than you intended.

Similarly if you are on a kayak, dinghy or any other small craft, especially if it is powered by human effort instead of a motor, these tides will have the same effect.

It will also affect your dog’s swimming if you throw a ball into the water or allow them into the sea.

The reason is because of the full moon, the gravitational pull causing the tide to rise higher than normal.

Equally, as the moon passes over and ‘releases’ the water; the ebb flow is stronger leading to a lower than usual low tide.

In some places that could cause sand bars to be exposed that would normally be covered with water; going out to these could cause you to get cut off by the incoming tide.

What can you do? Plan.

Download a tide table app and check for slack water times at high and low.

Between high water and low water is when the tides run at their fastest; and that can be the equivalent of a steady running pace.

If you or anyone you see gets into difficulties, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard, giving your location.

You might want to download what3words - a geo location app which uses three specific words to map the entire world in three-metres squares!

It might just save someone’s life.

A typical day which we highly recommend to our guests when they visit Norfolk.
With the weather being extremely hot at the moment, we recommend you do this between 9:00am - midday so you are not caught out in the heat!!
1. Visit Wroxham, the Norfolk hub for exploring the Norfolk broads.
2. Hire some buoyancy bikes by the river( the only place in the country which offers buoyancy bikes ) ,Laura and Paul will look after you.
3. Grab some lunch @ Wroxham hotel and sit out on the terrace where you can enjoy your food while boat watching.
4. Come back to Country View Cottage and chill in the hot tub while you watch the kids play in the garden. Happy days!!!

💫Alpaca mill and shop is 10mins walk from Country View Cottage.

Drop by on your way to Church View farm mini shop and interact with the Alpacas, while you’re there, pick up a few items made out of alpaca wool.
Fresh fruit and veg, fresh homemade cakes, rapeseed cooking oil, honey, crisps, fresh flowers and free range eggs are available at the mini farm shop. All locally produced and sourced.
Watch out for some cows and sheep lazily grazing in the fields as well as deers, rabbits and pheasants.
