So what is it all about and why now?
I became interested in trikes through watching Billy Connolly touring on Route 66 in the USA and Mark Evans in the "Is Born" series. I have enjoyed driving a convertible car for over twenty years, but the trike seems just a step further on. My wife bought me a Trike tour in Scotland for my 50th birthday and I was keen to repeat the experience locally. So I did the normal Google search and ... Nothing. If I enjoy Trikes, perhaps would other people want to do it too - an idea was born. The idea is to use a brand new, purpose built Boom Trike to supply tours and experiences of the Chiltern Hills and surrounding areas. The nature of the trike, with no windows or doors, is truly exhilarating. Safety is of paramount importance and this has been uppermost in the minds of myself and the council as we worked out how to properly license the trike. Of course we cannot completely remove risk, but life would be very boring if there was no risk at all.
