☀️🥾Cwmtydu Circular🥾☀️
Distance: 11km / 7 miles
Start: Cwmtydu

With plenty of climbs and descends, this walk feels like a real workout. The Coast Path stretch has been painstakingly cut into the steep coastal slope, with the gorse and bracken stretching out above and below as you walk. You’ll be accompanied by chough and seals with a good chance of a dolphin or two. By contrast, the inland section follows an intimate, wooded valley with a mixture of native trees and conifer plantations.

Whichever direction you choose to walk this loop, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views, plenty of wildlife and a good workout!

🌊Tresaith - Penbryn 🌊
Distance: 7.7km / 4.8 miles
Start: Tresaith or Penbryn

Looking down onto Penbryn Beach from the Coast Path heading towards Tresaith, you may recognise the marram covered slope at the back of the beach from a Bond movie. But then, depending on the weather, you really may not!

There is so much to see on this walk. A short diversion near Penbryn will take you to St Michaels church. There has been a church on this site since the 12th century and there are some famous graves in its environs; the hay meadows near Dyffryn Bern caravan park are a stunning display of wildflowers during the summer months and the river Hoffnant flowing through the wooded valley, tumbles in waterfalls before it crosses Penbryn beach.
