Job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. The ideal candidates will have a passion for f1, motorsport and cars. This role is on a casual, part time self employed basis, reporting directly to the owner of the company. We attend car shows, track events and shopping events all over the UK and we are looking for personable, reliable, punctual and professional event staff to join our team. Apex Collectables sell high quality F1 and motorsport art, merchandise and memorabilia. This role does require some heavy lifting.

Duties

Travelling to and working at events where required. 

Staying away at weekends where applicable to work at certain car events. Sometimes camping may be required at some track events.  Accommodation will be provided at other events.

Manage event stock logistics, including setting up gazebos to health and safety acceptable standards, stock displays, tables for display and grid wall displays.

Provide exceptional customer services by welcoming customers and assisting with inquiries.

Taking payments via hand terminal and packing item{s}

Dismantling equipment and displays and packing away stock at the end of shows.

Assist in the coordination of event activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to schedule.

Professionally dealing with customer enquiries.

Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service throughout the event.

Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in motorsport events or retail is preferred but not essential.

Strong customer services skills with the ability to manage diverse situations effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive approach with strong organisational skills.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Ideally trained in health and safety and manual handling.

Our July 2025 NC500 Tour is the perfect road trip for someone new to sports car tours. In our opinion the roads are the very best in the UK, and on par with many of the European passes.
