No one does fireworks better than Disney, and as we get ready to light up the sky to celebrate the New Year, here are some interesting facts about Walt Disney World.
1. It’s estimated to cost $18 million a year for Disney to put on their firework displays. Disney won’t release the information but that’s an estimated guess
2. Most fireworks use gunpowder for launch, but they use compressed air
3. There’s no fireworks at Animal Kingdom, Disney doesn’t want to distress the animals, so keeps them far away
4. If there’s no rainfall over the summer, Disney will cut back on the amount of fireworks, to avoid potential wildfires
