Happy Somerset day.
Did you know that May 11th was chosen as Somerset Day due to its significance to the county's history. It falls in early May when it is thought that Alfred the Great took refuge at Athelney in 878 before mounting his campaign with the people of Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire against an invading Viking army.

Our campervans couldn't have been further apart last week on their adventures around the UK. One was taken on a trip around the North coast 500 and the other toured around Cornwall.
Both families had an amazing time and made some lovely memories.

We love our local events and are pleased to be showing off one of our hire campervans at the Somerton Christmas lights switch on Fayre again this year.
