Why have one shower when THREE will do 🙂 This week we added a tap fed “Rainfall” shower along with our electric shower to make sure our guests always have the hottest and fastest flow. Like spaghetti junction but it’s always nice to have options 😂

Another happy guest who chose to stay and have her own little party when a big party at a local venues was cancelled due to restrictions. So glad she was still able to have fun! And we have plenty of disco lights in the living room too! 😂

Tried putting decorations in different places but it just seemed cluttered. In the end, simple is best. Our sparkly tree has its own sparkly tree :)

Well, we survived the stormy journey up to Scotland (just), and spent the morning putting together our bespoke piano fireplace. Love it!!versatile and unique 😉

Feature lighting added to our piano fire place and some gold leaf lettering on the lid…. Now just to figure out how to “float” it on the wall!

Managed to get the LED bulbs to back light the keys and down light onto the fire itself. Not sure if the gold leaf would look better saying “station view”. Thoughts?

Almost there with our bespoke piano fireplace. Good job the piano was already dead as it was butchered pretty badly. Just need the gold lettering for the lid (thought it would look nice with the lodge name embossed) and some internal strip lighting to make tur spaces between the keys glow different colours….. then to figure how to mount 10kg onto the wall.

Working with a new Channel Manger to develop our holiday rental deeper into the market. When we wake up tomorrow Station View Lodge - Markinch will be listed on ALL of these rental sites. Yey!

This is the question we’ve been asked the most this week. How far are we from Balbirnie Park? There is a country house in the park that hosts weddings there. Super close is the answer. 2 mins by car. 9 mins to the gate if walking.
