We were treated to a lovely morning sight today at The Cabin, a hot air balloon gliding over, followed by two paragliders!
What a stunning way to enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace!

Bedroom Two in the Cabin offers a warm and cosy welcome with field views of ponies and chickens (and even some more exotic birds in the distance!) and a dedicated workspace.
Large and spacious, this room also easily accommodates a cot and has plenty of storage with an open wardrobe and modern chest of drawers.

You never know what you might see out the windows at The Cabin in summer, sometimes it’s a Red Kite, sometimes is a deer, sometimes it’s the resident pony eating the window boxes! 🤣🤣🤣🙄

We’ve had a few busy weeks here at the Cabin, we’ve welcomed 4 new baby ducklings yesterday, hatched under our surrogate Mama Hen Buffy! And we welcome Topper the pony to our family too, such a handsome chap, he can been seen grazing in the paddock behind the Cabin on sunny days!
I love the spring and summer months, so wonderful so welcome new life and grow our little animal family!

The Cabin at Hunters Barn is all on one level with no internal steps, offering wide doorways too!
We also have extra wide external access with only one small step up (ramp can be provided upon request).

The Blackdowns is steeped in wartime history, and this is a lovely place to explore, right from the Cabin front door! It’s also a great safe dog walk for our four legged guests!

We are lucky enough to be just a short walk away from the lovely Otterford Lakes, with its peaceful footpaths and diverse wildlife; our guests love taking a stroll around the lakes during their visits!

We love welcoming our four legged guests almost as much as we love meeting our two legged guests!
If you're staying at the Cabin with your dog, they can look forward to complimentary dog treats, extra collars and leads, water bowls, blankets, towels and even their own bed!
The garden is fully enclosed, and our local pub is dog friendly too!
There are so many lovely walks straight from the doorstep that both you and your pooch will be spoilt for choice!
