Axbridge farmers market is held on the first Saturday of each month. Today we walked along the Old River Axe towards Axbridge. The Old River Axe borders Dunnett Farm and the beautiful walk can be accessed with ease from the cottages. We sat in the sunshine sipping coffee soaking up the atmosphere of the bustling market. I came home with a stunning locally grown bouquet! Our guests can enjoy a pleasant 30 minute stroll or take the car and delight in this Medieval town

The world famous Cheddar Gorge is a 10 minute drive away from the cottages or intrepid walkers and cyclists can access it via the hills at the back of the cottages. The Gorge is home to some splendid eateries and of course Cheddar Cheese and cider shops 🧀 🍻 enjoy!

Gorge-ous all the time, even in grey, wet, windy, snowy or sunny weather! ☁️
